About Me
I am a New York State-licensed and UK-registered clinical psychologist, and have worked in the mental health field for the past 20 years including The Albert Ellis Institute, Montefiore Medical Center, and Bellevue Hospital Center in New York, as well as Lewisham Hospital (London, UK), Kwai Chung Hospital (Hong Kong) and Queen Mary Hospital (Hong Kong).
I received my B.Sc. in Psychology from University College London (UCL), University of London; M.A. in Education in Psychology from Columbia University; and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from St. John’s University.
My research interests include the role of meaning-making in adjusting to adverse life events and trauma. I was also involved in research studies investigating the treatment of families afflicted by interpersonal trauma and traumatic bereavement.
I am also a mother of three and an amateur baker.
